Reminder of Community Candidates Forum

Grace Life Church, 1201 N. Beneva Road, Sarasota

The MCA Assembly Committee has twice cancelled scheduled
Candidates Forum without explanation. We do not know if there will be
an official MCA Candidates Forum.

Our community deserves better! The Community deserves an
opportunity to hear directly from the candidates where they stand on
critical issues facing our Community.

Justice For The Meadows is hosting a Community Candidates Forum
this Monday at a local church very close to the Meadows 17th St exit.

All six candidates will have 5 minutes to speak and will be part of a Q&A period after their presentations conclude.

Seating is limited to the first 275 attendees.

    Please stop all of your efforts to continue to divide our owners where in fact there are very few of you behind this. All of the owners are behind moving forward with the Benderson transaction.

      If it is true that there are very few of us who have any concerns about the Benderson deal, the smartest move would be for the Board to put it to a vote of members. That would kill the legal action (which is only about the right of members to vote on the matter) AND display the overwhelming majority you believe exists. Win-win for you.

    I wish someone would address the increase cost personnel of $400,000 with or without Benderson. It a 31% increase over last year budget . Who is getting this money?

      Ask the Treasurer. They rushed the budget vote through with absolutely no discussion. None.
