MCA Board Meeting Thurs Dec 12 @ 2pm

Reminder of the upcoming MCA Board meeting next week. It will be at the Meadows Community Lifestyle and Wellness Facility, and probably via Zoom as well. Make sure it is in your calendars to attend.

MCA’s recent practice is to send out an email about 48 hours before the meeting with a Zoom link. (48 hours is the legally minimum notice requirement).

Making your voice heard at MCA Board meetings is making a difference. It is important that we all speak up for transparency, accountability and fairness to MCA Homeowners.

    Thank you so much for these emails. I have been listening to the recordings of the meetings that you send when I cannot attend or zoom. Very much appreciated. Do not understand why all meetings are during the daytime, when people who work cannot attend. (Not me). This was a problem when in my HOA and they finally moved them so that all could attend. This is not a 55 year and older community. I am on the HOA Board at Hampstead Heath.

      I’m sure that’s exactly why the meetings are scheduled at that time. Many people are working and cannot attend/access.

    Maybe the meeting is to disclose form 990 which was due in November

      Unfortunately, because of the 3 hurricanes, the IRS has extended the reporting deadline to May 1 2025 (a homeowner has already attempted to obtain TMCC’s 2023 Form 990). And true to form, the TMCC will delay disclosing their results as long as legally possible especially know that they know it will become public. At their March 2024 Annual Meeting they reported a loss of about $20,000 (unaudited, $110,000 below budget)

      Yes. The Constant Contact email the MCA sent out had this link which includes a link to the Zoom option (make sure you register in advance)
