This is a “reprint” of an article in the September Meadoword. Sending it to you all in case you missed the article but would like to make a difference in The Meadows.
Each year, MCA holds an election for three Director positions on its
nine member Board of Directors. The Board directs the operation of
MCA, and through its committees, oversees various aspects of our
community.
Property owners who are interested in assuming one of Board positions should visit the MCA building at 2004 Longmeadow Blvd and request a Personal Information Questionnaire.
Completed questionnaires must be returned to the MCA office no later than 3 PM on Friday October 4, 2024. For further information, please contact Mike Mazur at the MCA office at (941) 377-2300.
Candidates for the Board are asked to introduce themselves to the community at the Assembly meeting on November 23, 2024 at the Lifestyle and Wellness Facility. Each candidate will be given time at the meeting to address the
audience.
In mid-November, each candidate will receive a set of questions.
Candidates will be allowed 100 words per question to respond. The
responses from each candidate will be featured, along with a brief bio
and a picture, in the January, 2025 issue of The Meadoword.
Ballots will be distributed to all Meadows property owners in mid- January, 2025. The ballots will be mailed with the annual MCA assessment document.
The results of the election will be announced at the MCA Annual Meeting on March 3, 2025 at 7:00 pm. The Annual Meeting will be held at the Lifestyle and Wellness Facility.
